Salvia Miltiorrhizae Radix (SMR) is a widely-used herbal medicine for the treatment of various blood stasis-related diseases (mainly circulatory system). It has been extensively studied in field pharmacology over last few decades. In addition, several reviews concerning effect SMR are available.
